Jane Jewell, Founding Team Member
Nazarene Compassionate Ministries New England Â

Bible verses that guide me are Matthew 25:35–36, Isaiah 58:6–7, and Matthew 22:37–39, which remind us that love—expressed through compassion and justice—is the greatest commandment.

My name is Jane Jewell. I serve on the founding team of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries New England, helping build connections and shared leadership across the region to strengthen compassionate action for those most in need. I also work with Heart-to-Heart, a nonprofit that helps people reclaim their capacity for compassion — supporting those in prison, returning citizens, and the faith communities that walk alongside them in practicing radical hospitality and care.
Â
With 25 years of experience in both for-profit and nonprofit settings, I enjoy helping mission-driven organizations grow through stronger relationships, collaboration, and systems that support shared goals. I am a graduate of Eastern Nazarene College and earned a Master of Social Work degree from Salem State University. I live in Quincy, MA, with my husband, Dan, and our amazing daughter, Angelina. I attend the Church of the Nazarene in Hingham, MA.
