The Bible verse I cling to as I search for my next full-time job is Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  

 

My name is Amy Hwang. I am an academic librarian with 28 years of experience. I most recently served as Director of Library Services at Eastern Nazarene College until the closure in December 2024. I am married and have one child. I grew up attending St. Paul's Church of the Nazarene in Duxbury, MA, and it still feels most like home to me! 

 

I graduated from ENC and Simmons University. Most recently I traveled to Papua New Guinea to unpack and process boxes of ENC library books for a Nazarene college there.
